Embossing & debossing

Embossing can be used to great effect, on its own or with foil, spot varnish and print.

Blind embossed logo

Embossing can be combined with foiling, spot varnish and print. With no underlying print, the effect can be absolutely striking: this is known as blind embossing.

Debossing is a similar process, where the image is sunk into the surface of the stock instead of raised. Embossing or blind embossing will take your print to the next level.

Options

  • Embossing combined with foil
  • Blind embossing
  • Debossing
  • Sculptured embossing with hand-engraved brass dies
  • Embossing with spot varnish and print
